NexGard Spectra Chewables for XSmall Dogs is one of the widely preferred treatments for protection against a wide range of parasites in dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing from 4.4 to 7.7 lbs. It is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis. NexGard Spectra Orange kills fleas, treats and prevents flea infestations and treats and controls tick (bush tick and brown dog tick) infestations. It also protects against mange and mites and eliminates roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. Additionally, the treatment prevents flea tapeworm infestations and controls flea allergy dermatitis.

NexGard Spectra for 4.4 to 7.7 lbs dogs contains afoxolaner (9.4mg) and milbemycin oxime (1.9mg) as active ingredients. This combination works together to provide month-long protection against both internal and external parasites. Its enticing taste prompts even the pickiest of eaters. The treatment can also be administered with food. It can be safely used in pregnant, breeding and lactating dogs.
