This easy-to-administer, monthly treatment is effective in the elimination of the tissue stage of heartworm larvae (Dirofilaria immitis), thereby preventing heartworm disease. Additionally, it is efficient in treating and controlling three species of hookworms and two species of roundworms in dogs for a month.

How Does Heartgard Plus Green Pack Work?

Heartgard Plus for 26-50 lbs Dogs is a meticulous combination of two powerful ingredients, ivermectin (136 mcg) and pyrantel (114 mg), which provides effective protection against heartworms, roundworms and hookworms. Post administration, the active ingredient ivermectin kills the heartworm larvae, thus preventing heartworm disease. On the other hand, pyrantel treats and controls roundworms and hookworms for a complete month.

Direction for use

• • Weigh your dog beforehand to ensure dosage accuracy
  • Administer the chewable either directly or by mixing with food
  • Ensure that the entire dose is consumed and if a dose is missed, re-dose immediately
  • Administer the dosage orally once every month
  • Give the first dose within 30 days after the dog’s first exposure to mosquitoes
  • Give the last dose within 30 days after the dog’s last exposure to mosquitoes

For dogs over 100 lbs, an appropriate combination of the chewables should be used.
