How Does Heartgard Plus Blue Pack Work?

Heartgard Plus for Up to 25 lbs Dogs is a meticulous combination of two powerful ingredients, ivermectin (68 mcg) and pyrantel (57 mg), which provides effective protection against heartworms, roundworms and hookworms. Post administration, the active ingredient ivermectin kills the heartworm larvae, thus preventing heartworm disease. On the other hand, pyrantel treats and controls roundworms and hookworms for a complete month.

Direction for use

• Administer directly or mix with a small amount of dog food.
• Give in a manner that encourages the dog to chew the treatment.
• Administer orally, preferably on the same date of each month.
• Administer the first dose within 30 days after the dog’s first exposure to mosquitoes.
• Give the last dose within 30 days after the dog’s last exposure to mosquitoes.
